Many locations in the hit deck grant resources if you score a critical hit so with the right build it is not unreasonable to claim almost the entirety of the resource deck. Blunt weapons such as the club or shield are especially useful due to gaining increased critical threat range on some locations. For our first creature feature I give you everyone's favorite baby faced hippo monster, the Gorm! "One day, great woe fell upon the settlement. Unrelenting storms raged overhead. While not the most difficult monster to wound in the beginning the Gorm quickly becomes problematic when hitting it causes it to projectile vomit on you dealing wounds that ignore armor to everyone in front of it. The higher level Gorm hunts hit you with permanent injuries, debuffs, and can leave you crippled before you even start the fight. But wait, it gets better.
